Dr. Jeffrey Hendricks, M.D.
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Hendricks has an extensive research background in nutritional biochemistry and epigenetics, and he spends much of his time developing new research-based custom formulations. He has developed functional beverages, enhanced waters, cosmetics, capsules, liquids, and tablets for companies in the U.S. and around the world. After training in trauma and emergency medicine in Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Hendricks practiced in multiple fields, including family medicine, integrative medicine, and occupational medicine. He is now a member of advisory boards for many U.S. and international companies. Dr. Hendricks’ clinical experience includes the treatment of over 50,000 patients, and his genetics and nutritional biochemistry background uniquely qualify him for his role as chief medical officer for M&M Labs.
Dr. Amber Passini, M.D.
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Amber Passini is the medical director of Biogenesis Medical and Wellness Center in Landrum, South Carolina. She is an expert in intravenous and oral nutrition, as well as chelation therapy. Dr. Passini oversees her nursing staff who administer nutritional IVs for a number of medical conditions, including gastrointestinal problems, vascular conditions, diabetic complications, chronic infections, and chronic fatigue. Today, Dr. Passini is focused on developing the next generation of nutritional products. She is committed to reviewing the newest nutritional biochemistry research available, helping her develop sophisticated, effective supplements. After treating thousands of patients with nutritional therapies, she now leverages her knowledge and expertise to enhance product development at M&M Labs.
Ryan Kogge
Chief Operating Officer
Ryan brings over 15 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics technologies working with the world’s leading third-party logistics providers, some of the largest brands in retail, as well as small privately-owned businesses. Ryan provides big company solutions with small business service.
Previously, Ryan joined a small start-up team that launched a reverse distribution center for a nationwide retailer. Ryan mastered the software and equipment required to process $1 billion of inventory annually. Subsequently, as the senior operations manager, he led a team of 600 frontline and management associates who processed over 200 truckloads each week.
In his role as the Chief Executive Officer of a 120 years-old small manufacturing company, Ryan applied his systems and logistics expertise to modernize the company’s practices and workflows.
James Tuan
Scientific Advisory Board
James Tuan serves on the Scientific Advisory Board for M&M Labs. James and Dr. Hendricks work closely together on initiatives to bring new and innovative ingredients to market and collaborate on new product development. James received his Finance and Business Policy MBA from the University of Chicago and his MA in Molecular Biology from Washington University. James has held senior positions in research and product development, commercial development, and general management in multinational companies such as Abbott Labs, Monsanto, Syngenta, and CP Kelco, as well as in start-ups such as Agracetus, Athenix, Solix Biosystems, and Lyxia. James is also the founder and Managing Director of Aurora Nutrition, an international market development company focused on specialty nutrition products and technologies. Throughout his career, James led the successful development and commercialization of novel nutritional and personal care ingredients, including specialty vitamins, essential fatty acids, optimized enzymes, hydrocolloids, and antioxidants that are used in dietary supplements, skin care, and animal nutrition applications worldwide. James’s addition to our scientific advisory board has been extremely valuable to M&M Labs product development and innovation.
Evan Puruleski
Director of FTZ Operations
Evan Puruleski is a seasoned logistics and supply chain professional with a degree from Central Michigan University. He began his career as an Operations Manager with DHL overseeing reverse logistics activity for the number one retailer in the United States, where he successfully led a team of 150 employees, streamlining processes and optimizing efficiency. His expertise in logistics expanded during his tenure with General Motors in Warren, Michigan, where he played a key role in managing supply chain operations for one of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers.
Building on his extensive experience, Evan took on a critical leadership role as the Chief Operating Officer in the business recovery of a textile operation in South Carolina, implementing strategic initiatives to stabilize and enhance performance. Currently, he serves as the FTZ Director for M&M Labs, LLC in Mill Spring, NC, overseeing Foreign-Trade Zone operations to drive compliance, efficiency, and cost savings for their customers. With a proven track record of operational excellence, Evan continues to make a significant impact in the logistics and supply chain industry.
Samantha Marmer
VP of Sales
Samantha Marmer is Vice President of sales for M&M Labs. She has extensive experience in the nutritional supplement industry as well as the cosmetic industry. Samantha has been the director of sales for multiple nutraceutical companies and brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and critical experience to the industry.She understands the many moving pieces of a new order from formulation, to bottle selection, manufacturing, and label claims. She is also very familiar with the unique elements, requirements, and challenges of Amazon. Her vast experience has helped numerous brands expand their product offerings and grow their sales. In 2016, Samantha connected with Dr. Hendricks and has been working with him since. She appreciates his knowledge of both medicine and natural alternatives. Her persistent nature and precise attention to detail make her a great addition to the M&M team. Samantha is originally from NYC and currently resides in South Florida.
Chris DeAngelo
Director of Quality Systems
Chris DeAngelo is the Director of Quality Systems at M&M Labs, bringing a wealth of experience in systems management, safety, and operational excellence. A retired Army helicopter pilot and former safety officer on the Aviation Task Force at the National Training Center, Chris has a deep-rooted background in aviation safety, having completed advanced training at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University following his B.S. in Management of Technical Operations.
His transition to the healthcare and nutraceutical industry has been marked by his exceptional leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to quality. At M&M Labs, Chris spearheaded the design and construction of the company’s extensive clean room capacity and successfully led the implementation of GMP practices, culminating in M&M Labs’ recent NSF Certification. His ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and drive continuous improvement makes him an invaluable team member, setting the standard for excellence in quality systems.
Raquel Brown
Accounting Manager
With over 20 years of experience in accounting and customer service, Raquel is known for her precision, reliability, and people-first approach. She holds a degree in Business Management and brings strategic insight and leadership to every role.
